Omaha Executive Institute

Furthering community awareness is a key facet of the Chamber’s mission. The Omaha Executive Institute is a special program offered by the Chamber Foundation exclusively for senior level executives who are new to their position or new to the community, and their spouses. The program explores the issues, challenges and opportunities within the Omaha community. The seven-session program is offered each fall.

Topics are selected to help participants understand the environment in which they do business and include:

  • A Sense of Place
  • Growth and development
  • Education
  • Business and economy
  • Health and human services
  • Government and media
  • Quality of life
  • USSTRATCOM tour

Sessions are held from 5 to 9 p.m. approximately every month in a location appropriate to the topic. Each begins with a reception and concludes with dinner, giving participants the chance to interact with speakers and other participants. Optional tours are also available.

Opportunities to meet with past Omaha Executive Institute participants are offered annually through social and educational programs. They speak highly of the institute’s benefits.
