Present at Chamber Academy
With an abundance of advertising opportunities, it is easy to believe that marketing is all about taglines and various techniques for improving campaign successes. This neglects a major concept that can build credibility, trust and consumer confidence - providing free advice to build rapport!

By offering valuable concepts, information and/or advice, a presenter can quickly build relationships that will set their company apart from the sea of similar companies that continually ask for business without really establishing a connection.

Read more about the benefits of being a presenter.

Presenter Guidelines
Chamber Academy was created to provide an easy and reliable way for Chamber members to get advice, learn concepts and garner information on a variety of important topics. To ensure quality programming, the Chamber has implemented guidelines for each presenter.

We are looking for a variety of topics applicable to diverse areas of business, from marketing to human resources and many topics in between. Sales related topics are always in demand.

  • Presenter(s) must be current members of the Chamber.
  • Chamber Academy sessions are educational, non-commercial forums. A speaker cannot use the Chamber Academy speaking engagement as an opportunity to promote their own product or service.
  • Presenter(s) will be limited to one session every twelve months.
  • Presenter(s) must refrain from statements or comments that can be deemed offensive, or anything less than professional.
  • Presenter(s) must possess the expertise, ability and skills to cover the subject matter to the Chamber's diverse audience.
  • Proposed session must be clearly defined including learning objectives and what attendees can expect to take away from the session.
  • Proposed session must be balanced to serve a variety of knowledge and skill levels.

Submit Your Session Topic Now
We are always looking for "new faces" to lead a session. If you are interested in making a presentation and you meet the criteria outlined above, complete the Chamber Academy presenter application.

Please note, the selection process occurs in April for the July - December series and October for the January - June series. Applications are accepted year round and will be considered for the next series.
